Basketball has long transcended sport to become part of the contemporary culture — with its own heroes, style, and personal brands. Signature sneakers have become global phenomena, while players express themselves not only on the court but also off it, including through fashion.
Quberten studio, together with sportswear manufacturer Jogel, presents the visual identity and signature collection of Andrey Kirilenko.

During his NBA career, Kirilenko became known by the nickname AK-47: «AK» refers to his initials, while «47» was the number he wore with the Utah Jazz. The combination became a recognizable part of his identity.

This became the starting point for the logo. The initials and number are combined into a single mark, with the digits integrated into the geometry of the letters and becoming part of their form. At the same time, 47 can be separated from the main mark and used independently—as a submark and one of the key elements of the visual identity.

Color palette

The palette reflects the colors of the Utah Jazz, the team where Kirilenko spent the majority of his NBA career. Deep shades of purple and indigo are paired with a cool sky blue—a direct visual reference to the most significant period of his career.
This restraint also echoes Kirilenko’s character on the court. Reliable and tireless, he was not always the center of attention, but he influenced the game across multiple areas at once. A kind of understated luxury rooted in basketball—value that does not need to constantly announce itself.

Two patterns interpret the logo in different ways. The first deconstructs the mark: the AK initials and 47 break down into individual geometric elements and come together to form an abstract composition.

The second, by contrast, keeps the logo intact. Repetition and offset positioning create a dense geometric rhythm that works across different formats and surfaces.

Apparel collection

The collection brings together two visual languages: one technical and restrained, with technical labeling, precise typography, and unconventional compositions; the other more expressive and rooted in basketball culture. This allows individual pieces to shift in character while maintaining a cohesive design system.
