30 Years at the Top: Pyunik FC’s Anniversary Kit
Pyunik FC is the most titled football club in Armenia. But what does this title truly mean? It’s not just about years of dominance in domestic competitions but also about making a statement in European tournaments, achieving historic breakthroughs for the country. These victories aren’t just about trophies—they’re about the people behind them: the club’s outstanding homegrown talents, dedicated coaches, loyal staff, and, of course, the passionate fans across Armenia.
Pyunik is a football family with an inspiring legacy. In April 2022, the club celebrated its 30th anniversary. To mark this milestone, Quberten Studio, which previously developed Pyunik’s visual identity, designed a special anniversary kit. The process—from selecting premium materials to advanced production techniques and intricate customization—was carried out in close collaboration with Spanish specialists from Joma’s design department.

To honor the anniversary, the club’s logo was updated with the number 30. The commemorative patch is made of silicone, giving it depth and a striking, three-dimensional look.

Two kits were created: garnet red and apricot orange. The jerseys feature a modern jacquard fabric, adding a textured wave pattern.

The collar and sleeve cuffs are adorned with a signature linear pattern — a phoenix stylized in the traditional Armenian motif. These elements are also woven into the fabric, emphasizing the premium craftsmanship and uniqueness of the anniversary edition. On the back of the jersey, the acronym FCP is displayed, seamlessly integrated with a pomegranate-shaped crown—one of the club’s most iconic symbols.

Special attention was given to the training apparel. Various pieces, including hoodies, jackets, and pants, feature the club’s signature patterns. The designs adapt dynamically in size and placement, creating fresh variations of the motif across different items.

Captain's armband
A unique captain’s armband was also designed for the anniversary. At its center, the letter C is stylized as a crown, echoing the same element found in the FCP acronym. Surrounding it, a spiral of inscriptions represents the club’s core values: Respect, Armenian Identity, Dedication to the Club, and Continuous Growth.
